I Can't Stand Windows or Mac Rhetoric

I definitely prefer OS X to Windows, but my choice wasn't driven by blind love or information based on half-truths or lies. I decided based on a lot of objective factors (and yes, some subjective).

However, I'm sitting here having a coffee and I overhear this guy (he's talking abnormally loud) say the following:

That's okay, even though you're a Mac user. I'll still talk to you. Sorry, Macs are just for dummies. No offense. Actually, I was thinking about buying a G5 and installing Windows XP on it. That puppy would scream.

Somehow I don't think Windows XP is going to do so well on a G5 PowerPC. For one thing it won't run or even install because Windows only runs on x86 chips. So you're going to run it on Virtual PC? Hmmm, don't think that'll scream all that much.

Oh wait, I must be one of those Mac dummies who hasn't figured out to turn water into wine yet. Good luck with your Windows XP installation on your $3000 G5 smarty.

Note: Yes, I know this kind of ignorance runs both ways. This is just what I heard this morning. I know many Mac "fanatics" who make equally moronic statements.
